Happy New Year’s Eve: My 2010 Obsessions

Happy New Year’s Eve all my lovely readers! Since it’s the very last day of 2010, I thought I would do a little recap of the year noting all my obsessions of 2010. Here goes…

*red lipstick 

*brunette hair (ta ta for now blonde)

*finding great deals through websites like Restaurant.com & CoupMe. 

*coffee with a splash of soy milk…every morning

*dating & going on cute/romantic/silly dates (it’s oh so fun!)

*hot yoga (finally tried it & gotta say I loved it)

*Chobani yogurt (um, is this even a question?)

*running (this year I ran at least six 5Ks and ran my first ever 10K, go ME!)

*blogging…every day (it’s an addiction)

*leggings with sweater dresses

*brown leather boots

*getting 99% of my grocery shopping done at Trader Joe’s

*browsing the Internet for fun things & sweet buys

*VictoriasSecret.com 

*Instant Happy Notes Sticky Notes 

*My new found love for Pheonix, MGMT, & Kings of Leon 

* Blasting “Dog Days are Over” by Florence + The Machine and instantly feeling happier

*Cappuccinos in the North End

*Thai Food particularly Pad Thai from King and I 

*The city of Boston

*Following your dreams & not what other people expect of you or think is “the right thing”

*Merlot

*New Zealand (traveled there in April & it was indescribable) 

*Teddy’s Peanut Butter (I don’t know how I didn’t find this stuff sooner)

*MY FRIENDS!!!

*Dark purple anything

*Taking pictures of everything

*Writing in cafes and pretending I’m a famous author 

*Trying something new every day

*Agave syrup 

*Candles that smell so good you could eat them

*Strength training / weight-lifting at the gym (really ladies it won’t make you big)

*Core Fusion Body Sculpt 

*Positivity 

*Learning to NOT obsess over my weight/the scale/calories

*Tacking anything to my bulletin board especially ticket stubs & pictures of good memories

    I love trader joe’s, leggings, and restaurant.com too.. especially when they have their 75% off deal and you can get coupons for $4.

    Where’s your favorite spot for cappuccino’s in the North End? Where did you do hot yoga? It’s one of my goals to try one yoga class this jan!

    ooooh that’s a toughie Ashleigh, I’d have to say Cafe Vittoria has the best cappuccinos in my mind! As for hot yoga, I bought a CoupMe a while back for a month of hot yoga at Bikram Yoga Boston & really enjoyed it. I’d love to get back into it but it can be real expensive!

    These are my New Year’s resolutions: 1)Make an? effort to create someone’s day brighter once a week. 2) Maintain my GPA, and volunteer more both on campus and inside my community. 3) Run a half marathon with my sister four) Eliminate unnecessary or negative stressors in my life five) Create a recipe binder, try something totally new, take photos for the binder 6) Make an effort to stay in get in touch with with pals and family members. 7) Get a lot more sleep!

    Thanks for the review! I purchased the maybelline remover following I’ve read your review. I haven’t started out employing it though since I still have a bit bit left of my Elianto pomegranate eye makeup remover. I’ve been very pleased with Elianto’s but they’re more spensive. RM18 and I get via it within a month
