This week, I’m thrilled to introduce you to Gemma! Two of my favorite qualities about a person is positivity and passion, and Gemma embodies both of these in spades. You can clearly see she loves what she does, and wants to share it with the world! When you’ve got something you’re that passionate about, it’s a sin not to get your story out there. I’ll let her tell you for herself! 😉

Wow, I can’t believe it’s already Friday! This week seriously flew by. It seems like just yesterday I was at the W.E.L.L. Summit (if you missed my recap you can catch it here), and it’s hard to believe it was already one week ago.

Speaking of the W.E.L.L. Summit, one of the best parts was connecting with so many like-minded, energetic individuals. One of those lovely ladies was the beautiful Mia Bell, a passionate entrepreneur who’s also a fabulous mommy to boot! I was so drawn to Mia’s infectious personality — she’s super approachable, honest and someone I could totally see being in my “tribe.”

I’ll let you meet Mia for yourself…you’re bound to love her!

Onward & upward to this week’s lovely feature on Healthy Chicks in the Community! Danielle is one of the sweetest girls I’ve ever met — she’s a good friend, a good wife and an all around good person. I’ve gotten to know her these past few years in Boston from my HC wellness programs to fitness nights and of course blogger events…and I love how supportive she always is.

I’ll let you meet this rockstar for yourself!

Happy Friday ladies! This week completely flew by for me, as I ran the Tufts 10K for Women on Monday and have been busy every since. I’m really looking forward to the weekend, as hubby & I are planning on escaping the city in his brand new car for a fall foliage adventure!

Now to this week’s Healthy Chick in the community, who I can’t wait to introduce you to! Jen is a very special person, and happens to be one of my mom’s best friends. She’s seriously one of the most genuine, cheerful gals I have ever met and she’s a good friend to all. When you’re around her, you just feel good.

That’s why it was extra motivating to have her there for my very first half marathon — the More/Fitness Magazine half in Central Park! In fact, she was our biggest cheerleader the entire weekend and the one who encouraged us to sign up in the first place. No wonder she’s the one that came up with the idea to form a run / walk group for her gal pals, “The Foxxy Trotters!”

My family & I are so lucky to know Jen, and now … Read More!

Good morning ladies, and Happy Friday! I just got back from NYC on a work trip; I must say the city always wears me out but damn do they have good food.

I’m now back to my number 1 Boston, and ready to bring you this week’s feature on Healthy Chicks in the Community! I met Karen a couple years back over good coffee & conversation. This lady never fails to impress me with her accomplishments — she’s a yoga teacher, author and just recently launched her own wellness show. Not to mention she has her first yoga retreat coming up this spring in Tulum, Mexico! Pretty darn cool, huh?

But most of all, she’s a good person and she keeps it real. I’ll let you meet Karen for yourself!

Anyway, moving on to this week’s HC in the Community! I first met Sarah at a fitness event (of course!) last year, and was immediately drawn to her passion. You could tell this girl had a lot of love for what she does — a gal after my own heart! 😉 Because of this love, Sarah has been able to create a whole community around fitness + wellness for college students.
