New Month, New Intention: Take A Peek Inside My New Month Ritual for Intention Setting

Happy March! I freakin’ love new months as they’re the perfect time to reassess where you’re at and where you want to be going. This month is extra special since it also falls on a Full Moon!

The first Full Moon of March is known as the Worm Moon, as it’s the time of year that earthworms reappear as spring is indeed on it’s way. This moon symbolizes renewal, rebirth and new beginnings. The ice is finally melting, tiny flowers are starting to pop out of the ground and good things are on their way!

In honor of the new month and this beautiful Full Moon, I wanted to share with you my new month ritual.

Here are the simple steps I take at the beginning of each month that you can easily implement too!

1. Put the phone away + play light, inspiring music. My Journaling playlist on Spotify usually does the trick!

2. Reflect on last month’s abundance. How much money did you bring in? What connections did you make? What are you proud of? What did you celebrate?

3. Let Go of the “Ick.” Let go of any relationships, clients, work assignments or exercises that aren’t working for you. When you let go, you create more space for new, positive things to flow into your life.

4. Set Your Intentions for the month ahead. I use my Create 365 Happy Planner to help with this part! Each month, it has space to write down what you’re celebrating, big dates, and goals for the month. I love looking back at previous months to see what I’ve accomplished, and this holds me accountable to my intentions!

If you don’t like using a planner, simply write down a word or intention to carry you through the rest of the month. Start with asking yourself how you want to FEEL.

5. Pull Affirmation + Oracle Cards: At the start of each month, I pull three Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue and three of my Spark Your Bliss affirmation cards. I always get the exact message I need at the time!

This month, I pulled Sekhmet (Be Strong), White Tara (Sensitivity) and Mother Mary (Expect a Miracle) from the Goddess deck, and Strength, Trust and Nourishment from my deck. Super fitting!

6. Meditate, Journal + Reflect: Take some time for yourself to let everything sink in! Meditation is a great way to get clear and really lock it in.
